Faraday Rotator/Isolator
The Faraday rotator is a non-reciprocal magneto-optical device based on the Faraday effect, which can rotate the polarization direction of the incident ray polarized light by a certain angle, generally set to rotate 45°; the rotation direction of light is only related to the direction of the internal magnetic field, when the light beam passes through the Faraday rotator, the polarization state of the light will rotate 45° in the same direction; the Faraday rotator cooperates with the polarizer to block the return light in the optical path and realize the one-way passage of light.
The Faraday isolator is mainly composed of a polarizer, Faraday rotator and analyzer. This product is a polarization-dependent isolator, which can effectively block the return light and protect the laser device.
